Work towards production goals in the sites manufacturing departments through appropriate management of people and equipment, working in conjunction with supporting roles, departments, and site leadership.

people management and development; maintain a safe work environment and safety culture; guide teams to meet and exceed customer expectations; track performance for KPI's and metrics; understand and manage immediate and future customer needs; support problem solving; and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
_What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be _
- Supervise shop floor employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment. Lead team to achieve goals.
- Work closely with production team to ensure all members are aware of safety policies to provide a safe workplace.
- Oversee the production scheduling and execution of work. Responsible for overall success of work in assigned areas.
- Recommends improvements to production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
- Provides leadership regarding employee relations, coaching, and development.
- Manage training and development of direct team.
- Moderate understanding of Chart Business Excellence (CBE) program and using the tools.
- Ability to delegate some tasks to team members allowing a higherlevel view of the assigned areas.
- Ability to solve moderate problems working with the related team.
- Typically manages a medium team with 620 direct labor reports, and 2+ departments or product lines. Reports could include salaried/indirect roles.
_Your Education Should Be _
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require _
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
_Your Professional Experience Should Be _
- Must have a minimum 35 years current supervisory experience within a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
- Computer Literacy required
- Experience Overseeing production in a machining environment a plus
