A day in the life of a Market Analyst:Life as a Market Analyst is filled with the exciting challenge of solving complex problems and uncovering the hidden story behind data, as it is your job to assist in the effort to support market and company-wide research efforts.
On any given day, you could be developing reports that will keep leadership abreast of economic indicators, local market trends, and customer segmentation.
You will bring data to life through the development of detailed, interactive dashboards and maps.You will work closely with the division land acquisition and sales teams to provide research to support strategic decision-making, all in a hybrid work setting with at least three days in the office.
In addition to these tasks, the Market Analyst also strives to make data ubiquitous, creating transparency across the organization by delivering insights everywhere.

What is Stanley Martin looking for in a Market Analyst?
The ideal Market Analyst candidate possesses a high level of both technical and soft skills. The candidate detail detail-oriented, data-focused, and collaborative.
Being able to communicate insights clearly and building strong internal and external relationships is imperative to the success of this role.
Must Haves:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field with a strong background in research and analytics.
3-5 years of experience
Experience with qualitative and quantitative research and analytics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate insights and methodologies to company leadership.
Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience working with business intelligence and data visualization tools (preference for Looker or Power BI).
Ability to work cross-functionally with teams with diverse skills and negotiate timelines and requirements effectively.
Creative mindset that can develop novel solutions to business problems and challenges.
Nice to Haves:
Experience with SQL programming
Experience in real estate
