Summary:

Responsibilities:


  • Coordinates with department managers to identify personnel needs and draft accurate job descriptions.
  • Implements effective recruiting strategies based on the available role and needs of the organization.
  • Assists with online job requisitions and posting and other marketing processes.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, and other details.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies such as the completion of Section 2 on the Form I9, then E-Verify process for all new hires.
  • Attends and participates in job fairs and other recruiting opportunities.
  • Travels to assigned markets to perform active, grassroots recruitment with Operations team identifying personnel sources as listed in the Recruitment Procedure Manual found in Section 3 under Human Resources.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles including but not limited to, hourly staff and salary managerial roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicanttracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.

Education:


  • High School Diploma and/or GED is required.
  • At least two years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

25% of travel required as directed by assigned supervisor.
