We are currently seeking an Electrician / Electronics Technician / Cable Technology Service Technician (m/f/d) for DB Communication Technology GmbH at our locations in Ansbach, Fürth, Gunzenhausen, or Nuremberg.

Your responsibilities will include maintenance and installation of copper and fiber optic cables, performing independent maintenance and repairs according to current guidelines, regulations, and manufacturer specifications, completing assigned tasks from dispatch, updating and creating system documentation, and using a smartphone and tablet for communication, order processing, and documentation.

You will start and end your workday from home using a company vehicle, and your work will be in your local area.

To be considered for this position, you must have completed a telecommunications or similar training program, such as IT systems electronics, communication electronics, industrial electronics, or industrial electrician.

Previous experience in cable technology is preferred, and you must be willing to undergo further training as needed.

After a training period and obtaining a professional qualification, you will be expected to participate in on-call duty according to a long-term plan.

You should be able to work independently, have strong customer service skills, and enjoy challenging and diverse tasks. A valid driver's license (Class B) and fluency in German are also required.
