We are looking for a caregiver for an 82-year-old woman and an 83-year-old man in Lowell, MI. While they are not bedridden, they are physically limited. The woman is beginning to experience senile dementia and forgets things, but can still reason.

The man is intellectually sound, but requires more physical care due to his Crohn's disease and needing assistance with changing his bag.

Currently, his wife takes care of this.

They live alone and do not have children, but have many nieces and nephews who are involved in their care.

We are currently seeking someone to come every morning and noon to help with cleaning, cooking, and taking them to medical appointments and managing their medication.

Knowledge of nursing/geriatrics and a driver's license are preferred. We would like the caregiver to gradually increase their hours and eventually become live-in. The couple has a fully equipped apartment above their own for the caregiver's use.

We urgently need to find a trustworthy person to start in the next few weeks, or even days, with a formal contract.
