The role you'll contribute:

Performs Electroencephalograms (EEGs), Evoked Potentials (EPs) and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) testing.

The value you'll bring to the team:

Conducts long-term monitoring in epilepsy and intensive/critical care units
Measures neurological responses to external stimuli and traces electrical pathways
Ability to scan, correlate, and clip studies
Ability to observe EEG tracings and respond appropriately to seizure activity
Explains testing procedures to patient and family using ageappropriate guidelines
Performs studies with appropriate documentation, observes patients, troubleshoots equipment and physiological artifacts, and utilizes appropriate resources

Qualifications:

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

High School Grad or Equiv 0 years experience

Basic Life Support

CPR Cert
American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists certification as a Registered EEG Technologist
