Allegiant Manufacturing, a one stop source for metal working solutions including stamping, fabrication, value-added assembly, tooling & machining, located in Gallatin, TN, has an opportunity for an experienced Die Setter in our Stamping Department.

• Pre-staging of all set-up (tools, dies, chutes, clamping required, conveyors, etc.)
• Identifies, handles, and requisitions raw material.
• Load coils onto mandrel and feed through straightener.
• Support and assist Press Operators during changeovers.
• Continually organize die and coil storage area.
• Assist Team Members when coils need rebanding and taken off press.
• Reads, interprets, and complies with the Production Work Order.
• Initiate and sustain 5S opportunities
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Complies with all safety programs especially those related to production such as press guarding, lock/out, personal protective equipment, fire an electrical safety, and hearing conservation.

• Ability to bend, stoop, lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk continuously throughout a ten (10) hour shift
• Must be able to obtain a forklift license and operate in a safe manner
• Experience: Six months experience is required.
• Required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms to handle material
• Willingness to be cross trained and learn all aspects of Bennett's warehouse procedures and processes
• Must be safety conscience at all times and exercise great care regarding the equipment, materials and the safety of others and oneself.
