    Midsize firm looking for a Commercial Litigation attorney

    Litigation and transactional law

    Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in various legal proceedings, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing expert advice on litigation matters. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for someone with a strong background in litigation.

    Responsibilities:

    Handle all aspects of litigation cases, including but not limited to pleadings, discovery, motions, hearings, trials, and appeals

    Conduct thorough legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw

    Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, answers, motions, briefs, and contracts

    Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations

    Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation

    Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on litigation matters

    Qualifications:

    Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

    Admitted to practice law in the state where the position is located

    Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Litigation Attorney

    Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures related to litigation

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Proficient in conducting legal research using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw

    Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide effective solutions

    Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes for clients

    Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
