- Create and lead individual and group recreational goals and activities for patients through creative techniques
- Facilitate group therapy with emphasis on recreational therapy interventions to help patients reach treatment goals
- Provide a recreation and leisure assessment for all patients admitted to the Behavioral Health Unit
- You have had previous experience in behavioral health and/or acute healthcare (not required)
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Recreational Management, Therapeutic Recreation, or related field (Master's degree preferred but not required)
- You have or will obtain BLS certification
- You are positive and passionate about helping those in our community

Shift: Full Time Days
Where You'll Be:
Baptist Health LaGrange is adding a brand new 11-bed inpatient behavioral health unit. Our focus will be providing care for adults 18 and older who require hospitalization for behavioral health needs in a safe and structured environment. The unit utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach to provide care for patients. Team is made up of registered nurses, mental health technicians, social workers, recreational therapist, and psychiatrist.
