Summary of the role:

As a software development engineer in the EBI team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing and maintaining software solutions that facilitate seamless communication between various systems and applications within the airport environment.

Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the efficiency, safety and overall experience for passengers, airlines and airport operations.

In this role you'll:
Has the required technical/functional knowledge and experience in own discipline.
Knowledge of the Amadeus business and how it is related to own area.
Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions.
Makes recommendations on innovative solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing diverse sources of information.
Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify software interface requirements and develop solutions that integrate diverse systems such as flight information displays, security systems, baggage handling, and more.

Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure software interfaces using industry best practices.
Troubleshoot and debug interface-related issues, ensuring smooth data exchange and minimizing disruptions to airport operations.
Contributing to quality chain from unit test to application debug through performance test and validation.
Going further by taking part in incident management and pro-active actions to increase customers and developers experience.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software development processes and enhance system performance.
Participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and contribute to the team's knowledge base.

About the ideal candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field .
3+ years of experience in designing, developing and maintaining Java-based applications .
1+ years of experience in integration projects, API development and middleware preferred.
1 + years experience in aviation domain is added advantage.
