Tourneau Bucherer is seeking a Summer 2024 Service Operations Intern who will provide support to the members of the Operations & Logistics team on a variety of projects over for the summer internship program period

Period:
9 weeks starting on June 11, 2024Compensation: $16 per hourSchedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday *Interns will be required to work in office fully on-site

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE INVOLVED IN:

The Service Operations intern will assist the Operations & Logistics Department in daily administrative tasks and activities while demonstrating excellent administration, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Review, maintain and update Service Standard Operating Procedures manual, as necessary.
Review of service invoices for accuracy and ensure correct CL coding.
Assist with the unclaimed customer owned inventory process, performing cycle counts and reviewing the intake and shipment of assets.
Key contributor to the parts inventory process, necessary for the company's upcoming digital transformation.
Collaborate with Service Operations team to understand internal process and make thoughtful improvement recommendations.
Draft and compile Service Operations follow-up emails and communications regarding service related inquires.
Maintain and update documentation, focusing on Certified Pre-Owned department processes.
Assist the Receiving and Distribution department with processing and gain an understanding of product work-flow.
Ad hoc projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Enrolled in a university or college program at junior or senior level, preferred course of study to include Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management or Communications, or related fieldProven experience working in an office environmentAbility to maintain utmost professionalism and discretion.

Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work autonomouslyBasic understanding of business operationsTeam player with a positive, can do attitudeAnalytical problem solverDetail oriented with outstanding administrative and organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communicationMust have working knowledge of MS Office; strong -Proficiency in excel and access a plusPassion for solutions based problem solving

SALARY RANGE:
