    Adena Lakeland – Industrial Project Estimator

    Adena Corporation is looking for a Project Estimator to join our Industrial team. We offer a competitive salary of up to $70K+ Bonus based on expertise and experience.

    Primary Job Responsibilities:

    • Developing accurate and well-organized estimates and bids for Industrial and Commercial construction projects promptly.
    • Completing clear, detailed, take-offs and budgeting for Projects.
    • Understanding contractual terms and conditions.
    • Organizing subcontractors' quotations, negotiating to ensure quotes align with contract documents, and issuing documented purchase orders and subcontracts.
    • Advanced ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, or models is mandatory.
    • Providing and managing unit pricing and database for material and labor costs.
    • Understanding and applying basic building codes and certification programs like AISC, ASME, etc.
    • Surveying sites and collecting information for potential estimates.
    • Analyzing plans and bidding documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
    • Operating the company's estimating system to produce bids and estimates.
    • Complying with the company's safety regulations to establish a secure work environment.
    • Performing any other assigned duties.

    Desired Qualifications/Skills

    • At least five (5) years of prior construction experience is essential.
    • Experience in schematic design and design development budgeting is a plus.
    • Proficiency in using Bluebeam software.
    • Preferably a High School Diploma or GED.
    • Familiarity with building codes and certification programs like AISC, ASME, etc.
    • Ability to comprehend and navigate plans and specifications.
    • Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.
    • Solid math skills encompassing basic arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
    • Must have a keen eye for detail.
    • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
