Primary Job Responsibilities:
Sets up and operates high – frequency, AC and DC welding equipment
Examines detailed drawings or specifications to find out job, material and equipment requirements
Cuts, rolls, shapes, bends, molds, spins, heats, or hammers metal products to fabricate parts or sub- assemblies
Sets up and/or operates hand and machine tools, torches, and welding equipment
Assembles parts and structures by lining up and joining them by welding or bolting
Performs routine inspections on assigned equipment and notifies supervisor of defects or needed repairs
Adheres to the company's safety policies to create a safe work environment
Possibility to learn to run computer controlled (CNC) machines

Desired Qualifications/Skills:
GTAW (Tig) on Aluminum and Stainless Steel All Positions
GMAW (Mig) Carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum All Position
Attention to detail – ability to operate grinder with precision to not scar or damage parts
FCAW (Flux core) and SMAW (Stick) on carbon steel a plus
Sufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics to perform duties of the role
Physically capable of handling heavy materials, tools, and machines
Must obtain the necessary training and certification prior to operating any equipment
Must maintain a valid driver's license or transportation to and from work
Good hand-eye coordination
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work independently with little direction when applicable
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
Ability to use equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner
Ability to read drawings
Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Ability to pass a weld test
Experience prepping and applying a shop coat of prime paint a plus
Ability to work overtime and on-site (within reason) as - needed
Must have the ability to work nights, holidays and/or weekends when required
Other duties as assigned by Management
