Summary
Coordinates all daily administrative duties in the Culinary Department. Interface with support departments to provide open communications and ensure that accurate information is being distributed.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Promote Cache Creek Casino Resort in a positive manner and practice the R.I.C.H. philosophy.
  • Maintain and manage Executive Chef's and Executive Sous Chef's office adhoc duties such as answering phone calls, calendars, meeting requests and weekly schedules.
  • Create and maintain position requisitions, complete BOH teams PAF (Personal Action Form), and assemble all files and training documents for onboarding new employees.
  • Grants permissions and system access for new employees, submits transfer changes and terminates rights in a timely manner in the Employee Manager system.
  • Order, issue, and track costs on the culinary teams' uniforms, along with laundry and linen charges contracted with the uniform company.
  • Prepare departmental payroll and investigate and resolve payroll disputes.
  • Monitor, correct and assist in maintaining safety sheets, sweep logs and time and temperature logs for the department.
  • Coordinate with the Culinary team to manage and proof the new menu rollout schedule, checklist, photos, and content and compile all information for restaurant biannual menu changes.
  • Update all Menu theoretical spreadsheets and work with Kitchen Clerk to communicate cost of goods and menu mix to the Chefs of each outlet.
  • Assist in training and be able to operate ordering process for culinary department such as Eatec., RecLogic, P.O. receiving and allocation.
  • Attend Culinary Chef's meetings, record minutes and distribute approved document. Other duties as assigned.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information, including personnel matters, legal documents, financial data, contracts, and other proprietary information.

Experience and/or Education


Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or a minimum of one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must enjoy working with people.


Computer Skills
Must be computer literate and highly proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


Age Requirement Must be at least 21 years of age.


Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
