Interim Chief Financial Officer

Location: Germany (On-site required)

Our client is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their finance team for a 6-month contract. In this crucial role, you will play a key part in ensuring a smooth transition in leadership following recent M&A activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize Local Finance Activities:
  • Take immediate ownership of all local finance activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with German GAAP and internal reporting requirements.
  • Lead and manage the local finance team, providing direction and mentorship.
  • ERP Blueprint Exercise:
  • Champion the development of a comprehensive ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system blueprint to integrate financial processes and systems.
  • Work closely with IT and other stakeholders to define functional requirements, data migration strategies, and implementation timelines.
  • Oversee the selection process for a potential ERP vendor (if applicable).
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and regulators.
