ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

Load empty pallets onto the finished product drop zone and ensure the ice machine is properly staging finished product.
Complete documentation such as, weight log, downtime log, and daily sanitation records in accordance with food safety, GMPs, and Weis Markets policies and procedures.
Ensure ice machine is properly supplied with bags for production.
Utilize a powered industrial pallet jack to take finished products from the ice production machine to the stretch wrapper for final packaging. Training and certification will be provided through Weis Markets.
Take completed pallets of bagged ice from the stretch wrapper to freezer storage areas for holding.
Stage pallets for shipment to the Weis Markets distribution center where the product will be dispersed based upon location demand.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This associate has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Completed or working towards High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
