Business Development Manager
Location:
Hybrid (5% Remote and 95% Onsite Meetings with Potential Customers)
Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Annual Salary Range:
$65,000 with potential productivity bonus.
The
Business Development Manager is responsible for generating sales of our Rural Metro Fire services to the local community.
Responsibilities:
- The
Business Development Managerwill g enerate leads for new business through actions such as: - Cold calling.
- Utilizing customer referrals.
- Community involvement.
- Collaborating with leadership on marketing programs.
- Participating in community networking events to draw in prospects.
- Completing the full sales cycle from introduction and discovery to the needs analysis, proposal creation, closure, and ongoing follow up and management.
- The
Business Development Managerwill build a pipeline of Residential and Commercial customers sufficient to achieve sales and company goals/targets. - Closing smart business (consistent with Rural Metro Fire objectives and practices).
- The
Business Development Managerprovides updates to the Director of Business Development and Special Services on all projects.
Skills:
- Proficient in a Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problems solving, change management and communication skills required.
- Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required. Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, Marketing, Healthcare or related field or a combination of education and experience preferred.
- 2 5 years of strategic planning and business development experience required.
- 3 years previous B2C or B2B solutions sales experience,
- Emergency medical transport industry knowledge,
- Management and sales training courses/experience preferred.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
