- Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the waiters to the kitchen.
- Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority.
- Assist in the final preparation of dishes.
- Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature.
- Informing the waitstaff when certain dishes or ingredients have run out and passing food requests from the waitstaff to the kitchen.
- Monitoring the food portions on completed dishes according to restaurant standards.
- Deliver orders to maintain fast service.
- Eliminate obstacles in service and food preparation lines.
- Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning.
- Transfer important information between the kitchen and the wait staff (e.g., when a customer has a particular request)
- Handle complaints from clients to preserve the restaurant's reputation.
- Support other tasks as needed.
- Proven experience as a food expeditor or another restaurant position.
- Understanding of health and safety rules in a restaurant.
- Dexterity in using kitchen equipment or utensils and carry heavy trays.
- Well-organized and able to lead and direct people.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities.
- A customer-oriented approach.
- Great physical endurance.
- Ability to handle a high-pressure, fast-paced, and stressful environment.
- A high school diploma, a higher degree in hospitality, or a relevant field will be appreciated.

You will work in a fast-paced environment to get proper orders out faster and more efficiently.As a food expeditor, you must have excellent communication skills and experience in a restaurant's hectic setting. Located in the heart of Downtown Woodstock, MadLife Stage & Studios offers 3 different sensory experiences for music and food lovers alike. Our full-service restaurant features a menu of in-house crafted specialties with a southern flair along with 16 drafts on tap, craft cocktails, and plenty of top shelf bourbon. Bordering Main Street, our extended patio exudes fresh air and relaxation while live music can be enjoyed 6 nights a week. Finally, MadLife offers a concert quality music venue that accommodates up to 284 music-loving patrons with performances by artists crossing a multitude of genres. MadLife also offers professional recording studios which include 2 large tracking rooms and a state-of-the-art post-production/mixing room.
