    Accounting Manager 9590

    We are seeking a strong Accounting Manager.

    The right candidate must be detail oriented, a self-starter, and have excellent organizational skills. This position requires a high level of collaboration and partnership with leadership.

    Must demonstrate strong Excel and other Microsoft applications skills and be able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment, high growth environment.

    Responsibilities
    Support the accounting team in overseeing the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process.
    Prepare journal entries and account/balance sheet reconciliations and complete variance analysis.
    Maintain and utilize financial analysis tools to prepare financial reporting packages.
    Support acquisition activities and integration of new business units related to parts and service departments.
    Monitor and ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and other internal policies and best practices.
    Assist in and support process improvement projects.
    Prepare audit schedules and provide supporting documentation for external auditors.
    Other duties and special projects as defined.
    Qualifications
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
    CPA license preferred.
    Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn accounting system applications.
    A desire and ability to support multiple locations.
    High level of initiative with ability to prioritize, multi-task, and deal with ambiguity and manage projects.
    Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
