Job Summary:
The Financial Aid Case Manager will help analyze students' need, aid eligibility, conduct outreach to students, and collect necessary support to administer the remaining funds.
This position will also review other at-risk populations, including students requesting a change in circumstance (due to an increased volume of these), students with large balances, and students in violation of Satisfactory Academic Progress.
This position will process and add awards.Salary Rate / Pay Rate:
$20.00/hour
Required Qualifications:
Prior financial aid office work experience at the senior level.
Work Hours:
Between 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday up to 28 hours/week.
Functional Expectations:
Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Effectively communicate on a consistent basis.
- Remain at a workstation for extended periods.

Special Instructions for Applicants:
Extra Help employees may only work up to 28 hours per week for all University employment.
Employees are only paid for hours worked and do not qualify for most benefits including health insurance and retirement, with Illinois State University.
However, Extra Help employees are eligible to participate in the University's supplemental retirement savings plans (403b). Applicable retirement information is provided at the time of hire. There is no guarantee that working as Extra Help will lead to or secure permanent employment.
