POSITION OVERVIEW:


The company designs and manufactures low-powered industrial solutions for reliable, user-friendly sensing, controlling, and monitoring - without the use of wires.

Our platform is compatible with most industrial sensors and available with 900MHz Radio Frequency or Cellular & Cloud with LTE-M1 for flexibility and cost effectiveness.

These products are robust and certified for hazardous locations with a built-in secure communication protocol that enables long-distance wireless communication connecting multiple devices together in challenging outdoor environments.

Our objective is to provide users with the solution they need to digitally transform their operations with the use of existing or new sensors without running wires, cables, and conduit.

The company is looking for an experienced product manager who will oversee the wellbeing and growth of the product
portfolio from a technical and commercial standpoint.

The product manager will work closely with customers, sales, marketing, R&D and operations to ensure the products meet and exceed market requirements.

This person needs to

have great technical and commercial skills combined with creativity to best drive interaction with the various people involved in the product line life cycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & POSITION REQUIREMENTS
You will be working collaboratively across functional peers to:
Understand market trends and drivers that are influencing our customers purchasing decisions across our target industrial sectors
Understand the competitive landscape and where our competition is investing in solutions
Develop a roadmap and investment plan that will enable us to provide innovate solutions that are market leading
Quantify customer challenges and define solutions
Provide leadership and direction to cross functional teams on short-term tasks and near-term priorities
Ensure the on-time, cost, and specification of New Product Introductions (NPI) by tracking and managing the execution of NPI's throughout a formalized gate process
Develop a marketing strategy and plan that optimizes our product and solutions sales within newly identified and existing routes to market
Collaboratively work with sister companies to create marketing collateral that reflects our brand values and continuously engages our customers and distribution partners
Actively manage our product portfolio utilizing a transparent lifecycle management process
Manage pricing strategy and implementation in collaboration with the Director of Global Sales and Country Sales Managers


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
You demonstrate a high level of experience and success as a Global Product Manager or you are ready to take the next step from where you are currently operating as an exceptional product manager of NPI's
You possess the knowledge and experience of NPI product management best practice & methodologies.
Degree or equivalent experience in a similar instrumentation, wireless or process measurement field of expertise.
You are passionate about Product Management and are driven to achieve great results.
Highly articulate both in the verbal and written form with a comprehensive level of computer proficiency.
You possess a high level of organisational and resource management skills.
You are commercially minded and able to provide compelling business justification for NEW product developments and product roadmap refresh.
With a proven ability to develop products and solutions that customers find desirable and proactively wish to purchase.
You are a team player who is comfortable working in a non-hierarchical business.
You are entrepreneurial and possess a strong work ethic.
Able and willing to travel Globally as necessary to be successful in this new role of Global Product Manager.
Strong written and verbal written communication skills.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
BA/BS degree required and/or minimum of 3 years of experience in automation, instrumentation, wireless or process measurement field of expertise
Previous Product Management experience is desirable
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
Able to identify risk and implement solutions and communicate changes at various levels of the company
Strong sense of curiosity and willingness to continuously learn and develop
Problem-solver with solution-oriented mindset and ability to adapt quickly to changes
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to take constructive feedback and to improve oneself
Ability to motivate co-workers, colleagues, and others

COMPUTER SKILLS:
