Job Description Summary:
Provide support to the TLAC Business & Administrative office as the front desk receptionist.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- High school graduation or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year of experience in general office or clerical work.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to multitask and provide customer service in a professional office environment.
- Works well with others.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the TAMU travel system, Concur.
Essential Duties/Tasks
TLAC Main office point of contact
- Main office suite security access
- Answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate party
- Food/catering orders & deliveries
- Student and visitor questions
Travel/Concur Support
Office duties
- Assist with keeping office supplies stocked in storage closet making reorder lists for Business Office and keeping storage closet organized.
- Submit work orders as needed, including orders of door/desk name plates for new employees
Department event support
- Assist with department meetings and events setup, breakdown, etc. Other duties as assigned
