    Description

    The primary responsibility of the User Experience Researcher is to plan, conduct, compile, and share executive summaries and detailed findings of primary usability research, ensuring that the client is satisfied with the service and delivery from MRM. This embedded team role will work directly within our client's organization, a global top-tier high-tech business.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    • Experienced in interviewing customers and prospects as well as collecting secondary external research to support their primary research findings.
    • Act as the primary research contact for stakeholders, channeling user research questions and requests.
    • Responsible for working closely with PM and the digital experiences team to conduct qualitative and quantitative studies that help iterate and validate digital solution concepts.
    • Plan and conduct usability tests with end users to understand how well end users can learn and use a digital product or service.
    • Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through sharing of detailed reports and executive summary presentations.
    • Conduct frequent, iterative usability testing to inform and evolve design decisions.
    • Coordinate, conduct and moderate usability interviews via Webex.
    • Lead the gathering of qualitative and quantitative feedback on research deliverables.
    • Create transcriptions to clearly communicate defined experience strategies to team members.
    • Advise on the experience that will be most usable, rewarding, and beneficial to the audience.
    • Partner with subject matter experts, and marketing disciplines across client organization to understand audience and customer journey aspects as well as relevant product/service technologies entailed.
    • Articulate project status with PM, key clients, team members and client stakeholders.
    • Present findings to stakeholders to ensure that the research is understood and able to be implemented.

    Required Experience, Skills and Education

    Education:

    Degree in UX research or related research field

    Experience/Knowledge/Skills:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience running end-to-end user research
    • Experience interacting with people in a usability study environment
    • Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver high quality deliverables
    • Excellent ability to provide actionable recommendations
    • Extensive experience with usability research tools such as and Optimal Workshop
    • Solid collaboration skills with internal client team and stakeholders
    • Exceptional presentation skills
    • Strong sense of ownership and proactivity
