Reports to:
Ring Lardner Middle School Principal (or designee)

Niles Community Schools is looking for a dynamic 6th Grade ELA/Social Studies Teacher. Highly-effective communication skills and professionalism required for daily interaction with a diverse workforce, student population, building administration and community.


Required Qualifications:


Perferred Qualification:

  • English Language Arts (BX) endorsement
  • Social Studies (CC) endorsement

Performance Responsibilities (non-prioritized):

course of study adopted by the Board of Education, and other appropriate learning methods

  • Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and
administrative regulations

  • Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments in order to evaluate students' progress
  • Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and provides individualized and small group
instruction and varied teaching methods in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each
student
