We are looking for a new team member in Kilmarnock
Your Responsibilities:
- Design, development and maintenance of terminal-based time and attendance functions for enterprise customers
- Implementation of communication between hardware terminals and business application
- Taking responsibility for innovative solutions aligned with real customer needs
- Participation in an English-speaking team of experts from the areas of software development, product management, customer service and quality assurance
- Working closely with our colleagues in the development teams in Timișoara, Kilmarnock and Hamburg
- Analysis of requirements and development of technical concepts
- Programming, testing and documentation of new features
- Further development of existing features and bug fixing
- Ensuring software quality and compliance with development standards
Your Qualifications:
- Completed studies in computer science
- Several years of experience in software development and Java programming
- Good knowledge of relevant programming languages and frameworks (e.g. Java 17, Spring Boot, Docker, Gitlab, Eclipse, SQL and Liquibase)
- At least basic experience with network programming (Sockets, TCP/IP, HTTP)
- Affinity for dealing with hardware and communication protocols
