Description

At Jefferson Hills, our goal is to create a living space for individuals with and without assistance needs. The focus is on living together with people of different ages, regardless of any disabilities. The community was founded in 2013 with the establishment of the sponsoring association. Currently, 29 people are part of our community. For the coming years, we plan to expand with a focus on children, families, and spaces for communal living. Although we have already successfully taken the first steps, there are still many more ahead of us.

Our foundation is based on the anthroposophical view of human beings, and our roof, under which we live and work, is the collaboration in musical and artistic activities.

The Jefferson Hills community is located in Bad Harzburg in the district of Goslar (Lower Saxony). Our property borders directly on the Harz National Park with its many opportunities to discover and enjoy untouched nature. At the same time, we have access to the excellent infrastructure of a lively small town.

As the current position holder will be retiring, we are looking for a successor (m/f/d) as soon as possible, who wants to take on a diverse range of tasks in the management of the facility with experience, competence, and head, heart, and hands.
