General Responsibilities:


  • Assist in sizing various system components
  • Review existing client drawings of asbuilt structures for modification/addition to
  • Transform rough sketches and notes to complete issued for construction documents that will allow a contractor to construct
  • Technical adequacy of work is reviewed during progress and on completion
  • Perform site visits to job sites to determine the client's needs as well as perform field measurements to generate asbuilt sketches.
  • Develop 3D models of foundations and structures

Required Education/Licenses:


  • Minimum of high school or technical school training with courses in computeraided drafting or equivalent experience

Required Experience:


  • 5+ years of extensive drafting and engineering technician experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD is required
  • Experience with structural steel and concrete fabrications is required
  • Experience with MicroStation is a plus
  • Experience in CADWorx is required
  • Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D is a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
