Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
• Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
• Follow care plans and instructions from supervisors

Skills:

• Experience in childcare, senior care, or hospice care is preferred
• Knowledge of first aid techniques and ability to respond in emergency situations
• Ability to lift and move clients safely using proper body mechanics
• Strong caregiving skills, including empathy, patience, and compassion
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques for individuals with special needs
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and ability to monitor vital signs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required)
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
