We are seeking an
Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team. This is a
hybrid opportunity based out of our Waltham, MA office.


Job Summary


The Accounts Receivable Manager position supports the monthly close and invoicing process by managing cash influx and collecting payment from customers.

Payments are to be processed and recorded in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

This role has both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on business, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.


Duties and Responsibilities- Validation of invoices from Salesforce and sending to customers ensuring that all invoices are accurate. This includes invoices submitted to customers via portal.- Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.- Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.- Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of customer bank deposits and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger. Prepare analytical and ratio analysis in relation to A/R for management to gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing.- Sending statements to customer as needed.- Manage the credit review process for required customers.- Strengthen and grow relationships with clients by communicating with customers regarding past-due accounts.- Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts receivable process identifying areas of performance improvement.- Assist finance department in annual audit preparation.


Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.- 5-7 years professional experience.- Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.- NetSuite ERP and Salesforce billing experience strongly preferred.- Detail-oriented with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong organization skills and the ability to effectively multi-task.- Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable interacting at all levels in a fast-paced environment- A positive attitude and eagerness to work as member of a team.
