Residential Caregiving Facility is looking for a caregiver who will provide routine daily nursing care to long term residents. This is a 6 bed residential home facility.

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months caregiving experience
• Must have CPR certification upon hire.
• Must have a negative Tb test and physical before scheduled

Specific Job Requirements

• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm as well as willingness to handle difficult clients.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA privacy laws and maintain confidential information.
• Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.

There is no set schedule, able to work different shifts (AM, PM, NOC) and weekends at different locations.

Approx hours a week.

Essential Functions

• Must be able to safely lift, turn, push, pull, reposition, and transport patients 50 lbs and over.
• Must be able to assist clients with ADLs: showers, personal grooming, feeding, and toileting, etc.
• Prepare and serve meals as well as light housekeeping.
• Able to accurately document and chart client care.
• Take Vital signs and willing to complete on job training for medication administration.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients, staff, and family.
• Must be able to assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Must demonstrate dependable and regular attendance.
• Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Must be able to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
