    Position Summary

    Caribou Thunder is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in supporting the Ground Vehicle Systems Center.

    Your expertise and leadership will contribute to developing Army Robotics Common Software.
    Complete Description
    The systems engineer will drive and lead architecture changes for autonomous ground vehicle autonomy software:
    You will develop and mature high-level product requirements and verification and validation criteria with performance metrics.
    Develop test specifications to verify high-level product requirements.
    Willingness to develop and run tests using software, simulation, and/or vehicle.
    Act as an integration and test engineer to collect data for robotic operating system based autonomous ground vehicle systems. Perform post-analysis of measurement data to verify agreed upon metrics.
    Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
    Must obtain Secret clearance.

    BS in Computer Science, related engineering, or applied science field with 8 years of experience, or a Master's in Computer Science, related engineering, or applied science field with 6 experience implementing system engineering best practices, including requirement elicitation and validation.

    Strong understanding of software architecture of autonomous systems.
    Able to act as test engineer for a ROS - Robotic Operating System based system.
    Basic knowledge of vehicle controls, sensors, autonomous systems, and functional safety.
    Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and model-based development using SysML, UML tools.
    Preferred Requirements

    Experience in robotics and autonomous systems.
    Experience with understanding of behavior, planning, and motion control of a robotic system.
