Position Summary:

As the Business Systems Manager, your focus will be on leveraging technology to meet strategic business objectives. Your main responsibility will be to lead the selection, development, configuration, and integration of business systems.

Reporting to the Vice-President of IT, you'll have the opportunity to lead and manage a team of systems analysts, developers, and support staff to help achieve our technology goals.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Lead the selection, development, configuration, and integration of IT systems to support business operations within the organization.
  • Supervise team members who provide operational support and act as their backup when needed.
  • Assist in the development and execution of user requirements, program specifications, and system test plans.
  • Oversee the company's interactions with some external service providers, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements, resolving issues, and optimizing terms of engagement to meet evolving business needs.
  • Contribute to the setting of the strategic IT roadmap and project prioritization.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance optimal performance and maintain highquality results.
  • Contribute to the development and review of IT budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Contribute to the setting of the strategic IT roadmap and project prioritization.
  • Proficiency in managing systems development, configuration, and implementation to support business needs.
  • Knowledge of software development processes, systems architecture and a modern programming.
  • Ability to understand the company's general business functions and have a conceptual understanding of each division's/department's activities.
  • Business and IT infrastructure understanding, project management, communication skills, business process improvement.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to make logical, wellthoughtout decisions and recommendations.
  • Experience with business case development.
  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors and service providers.
  • Knowledge of Project Management concepts and practices.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Excellent listening, speaking and written communication skills. Ability to convey technology concepts in a way that is easy for nontechnical people to understand.
  • Strong learning, problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills

Qualifications:


  • 7+ years of experience defining and implementing IT systems in a Business Systems Manager and/or Business Analyst role
  • Prior programming experience with Drupal, PHP, Java, or C#
  • Salesforce
  • Technical background in software development processes, systems architecture, and programming
  • 3+ years vendor management and SQL experience
  • Prior experience with a Business or Financial Services firm is preferred

  • The position is based out of our corporate office in Wayne, PA, where we have a hybrid work schedule (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays in office with Mondays and Fridays remote optional)
