Licensed Clinician (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT)- Partners in Recovery, Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with some evenings

The Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board is seeking a Licensed Clinician (LPC or LCSW) to join the Partners in Recovery Program, a distinguished provider of comprehensive behavioral health and developmental services dedicated to enhancing the lives of our community members. As a key team member, you will play a crucial role in managing a caseload of clients with co-occurring mental health and substance-related disorders in an outpatient setting. Your responsibilities as a Licensed Clinician encompass a range of vital functions, including conducting comprehensive assessments for incoming clients, developing detailed treatment plans, and providing individual, group, and family therapy tailored to the unique needs of clients with co-occurring disorders. We emphasize a person-centered clinical approach that focuses on addressing the complex interplay between substance use and psychiatric-related issues. You will work closely with clients to help them identify and achieve their treatment goals, and when necessary, collaborate with their family members, delivering education and counseling interventions. Independence in managing day-to-day work is expected, with regular consultation and support from the Program Manager. Adherence to comprehensive service plans, federal/state regulatory boards, agency policies, treatment plans, diagnostic manuals, and professional standards is paramount in this role, ensuring the highest quality of care for our community members. In your role as a Licensed Therapist (LPC or LCSW) at the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, you will have the opportunity to support the agency's development efforts by providing clinical supervision to unlicensed therapists.

    • Eligible or approved for MCO credentialing.

If you are a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinician (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) with the requisite experience and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of individuals facing Mental Health, Substance Use Disorder, or co-occurring disorders, we encourage you to apply.

Join us in our mission to improve the lives of those we serve. Apply today to be part of our dedicated team.

Current H-NNCSB employees are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.
