    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team and provide crucial support for a roofing company based in Stuart. The ideal candidate will be proficient in multitasking, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong background in administrative tasks.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Permitting Assistance:
      • Coordinate and facilitate the permitting process for various projects.
      • Maintain accurate records of permits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
    2. Clerical Duties:
      • Perform general clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and document organization.
      • Assist in maintaining an efficient and organized office environment.
    3. Job Costing:
      • Collaborate with project managers to track and document job costs.
      • Assist in the preparation of cost reports.
    4. Bookkeeping Support:
      • Handle basic bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions.
      • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
    5. Communication:
      • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to permitting, job costing, and clerical matters.
      • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless workflow.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in the construction or related industry.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic bookkeeping software.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma required; additional education or relevant certifications a plus.
    • Previous experience in administrative roles with exposure to permitting, job costing, and basic bookkeeping.
