Currently, we are looking for an IT Service Manager (m/f/d) for our client. Our client is one of the leading providers in the aviation industry and is a globally active company. They employ over employees worldwide and have an annual turnover of over 3.5 billion euros.
Responsibilities:
- Handling of major incidents and escalations
- Participation in support management, problem management, and configuration management
- Activation and management of external service providers
- Activation of problem management (if necessary)
- Reporting on major incidents
- IT service communication with internal customers
- Creation of training materials and conducting trainings
- Reporting on service metrics
- Initiating escalations (if necessary)
- Moderation during escalations
- Managing the problem resolution process
- Managing service transitions and IT knowledge management
- Identifying, improving, and implementing process adjustments
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience
- Completed bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
- Extensive experience in the field of operational IT, particularly in service desk and service management
