Currently, we are looking for an IT Service Manager (m/f/d) for our client. Our client is one of the leading providers in the aviation industry and is a globally active company. They employ over employees worldwide and have an annual turnover of over 3.5 billion euros.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling of major incidents and escalations
  • Participation in support management, problem management, and configuration management
  • Activation and management of external service providers
  • Activation of problem management (if necessary)
  • Reporting on major incidents
  • IT service communication with internal customers
  • Creation of training materials and conducting trainings
  • Reporting on service metrics
  • Initiating escalations (if necessary)
  • Moderation during escalations
  • Managing the problem resolution process
  • Managing service transitions and IT knowledge management
  • Identifying, improving, and implementing process adjustments

Requirements:

  • Completed vocational training as an IT specialist or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience
  • Completed bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
  • Extensive experience in the field of operational IT, particularly in service desk and service management
