We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Finance to lead our financial operations and strategies.
This executive role will oversee all financial aspects of our organization, including strategic planning, budget management, investment planning, financial forecasting, and compliance.
The VP of Finance will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, Executive Vice President, and executive team, providing financial insights and advice to guide business decisions.
This role is instrumental in maximizing our company's financial performance and strategic position.Responsibilities:
Serve as a financial advisor to the CEO, Executive Vice President, and executive team for strategic planning. Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax preparation. Develop appropriate tracking methods for revenue and expenses. Oversee the development, oversight, and management of the organization's investment plan. Lead and manage the budgeting process for all departments. Gather financial data for analysis and forecasting concerning profits, trends, costs, and compliance. Coordinate the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly reports. Manage insurance coverage for the organization, including compliance. Process the organization's financial activities to maximize profits and plan for growth. Ensure the company complies with tax laws and regulations specific to the manufacturing industry. Manage the company's compliance with local and federal regulatory matters. Manage CAPEX expenditure process, ensuring project coding and costs are captured correctly. Regularly review revenue cycle metrics to proactively identify and address issues affecting overall performance. Partner with executive leadership and senior leaders to ensure the company hits revenue targets. Audit and approve productivity and effectiveness of current cross-team processes. Oversee, lead, and guide IT and HR departments. Manage and supervise AR and AP cycles with external partners and customers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA/CPA) is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Proven experience in strategic planning, profit and loss management, and budgeting. Strong knowledge of data analysis, risk management, and forecasting methods. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software. Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
