The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to become even better with us.

We are currently seeking candidates for a 3-year apprenticeship as a specialist in rail operations (m/f/d) at RBO Regionalbus Ostbayern GmbH in Regensburg. The vocational school is located in Nuremberg.
What to expect during your apprenticeship:
  • You will learn how to drive buses and obtain a Class D driver's license
  • Vehicle technology for different bus models
  • You will learn how to maintain and troubleshoot buses
  • Customer consultation on transportation connections and fares
  • Implementation of advertising measures
  • You will become familiar with planning and managing vehicle and personnel deployment
As a trained specialist in rail operations, you will primarily work in the control center and be responsible for personnel and vehicle scheduling.
Your profile:
  • You have successfully completed secondary school (or will soon) and are at least 17 years old
  • You are passionate about technology
  • You can remain calm and keep an overview even in difficult situations
  • You value service and safety orientation
  • You are flexible and reliable
  • Having a Class B
