The Sanford Organization (TSO) is a dynamic and innovative Association Management Company (AMC) that is dedicated to delivering value to our multiple clients in working to promote, expand and defend our clients' industries to internal and external stakeholders.

TSO is looking for a talented and results driven Membership Services Administrator for our client the Aluminum Extruders Council (AEC) to help us achieve our clients' initiatives and objectives.


Job Description:


As the Membership Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction and engagement of the AEC's members.

You will also be responsible for managing all aspects of membership services from onboarding new members through providing ongoing support through engagement with members and organizing various events (in person meetings, conferences, webinars, etc.).

As the Membership Services Administrator for the AEC, you'll be responsible for working with the TSO staff and members to assist in the development, planning and execution of the AEC's programs and strategies.

This is a key role within TSO and for the AEC that requires a strategic thinker and a creative mind with a passion for execution.

This position is on-site in TSO's Wauconda, IL office or work from home in the Kansas City metro area


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for member inquiries, providing timely and courteous responses to all requests.
  • Plan and execute member events, workshops, webinars, and networking opportunities, both inperson and virtually.
  • Create and manage online registrations for events and manage member records and databases, ensuring data integrity, organization, and confidentiality.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on membership engagement, trends, and other metrics as requested.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify opportunities for member benefits and valueadded services.
  • Prepare agendas (in collaboration with association members), take/distribute meeting minutes as required.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, related field, or significant professional experience.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in associations management, member services or related role.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with membership management software, CRM systems and Microsoft Office/Teams preferred.
  • Copywriting, Graphic Design, Social Media Skills are a plus
  • Creative thinker with a passion for engaging and serving the member community.
  • Some overnight travel will be required.

Pay:
$50, $65,000.00 per year
