Weekend Manager
Summary:
The Weekend Manager is a part-time employee residing in the volunteer apartment of the Ronald McDonald House while on duty.
This position provides on-site employee availability currently from 6 p.m. on Fridays until 6:00 p.m. on Sundays.The Weekend Manager reports to the House Manager and is available to respond to individual family needs and troubleshoot any House issues over the course of the weekend.
Responsibilities Include:
- Support the mission of the Ronald McDonald House
- Supervise House activities over the weekend
- Registers families upon arrival; Checks out families upon departure
- Enforce House rules
- Resolve family conflicts
- Available to the families in residence for emergencies and other types of assistance
- Answers the phone and door
- Knowledgeable about all safety devices/ procedures and able to institute
- Opens the House at 7 am and Closes the House at 11 p.m.
- Walks through facility on a regular basis to check locks, alarms, etc.
- Available for vacation and holiday coverage when volunteers/ Resident Manager not available
- Works with and maintains good relations with volunteers
- Coordinate placement of all donated goods that arrive over weekend
- Ensures that all areas are clean and in good repair; communicate with house manager if maintenance repairs are needed
- Provides log of activity over the weekend for House Manager
- Additional duties as assigned
