Training for Civil Servant - Customs Service (middle service) (m/f/d)

Middle service

If you choose the middle service as your career path, you will process customs declarations and handle shipments. But as a trainee, you won't just be sitting in front of a computer screen: you will also be conducting on-site inspections to ensure that companies have properly declared goods and paid the required taxes and duties - so even as a customs officer, you can satisfy your love for the outdoors.

Requirements

You have a secondary school diploma or a primary school diploma with a two-year recognized vocational training from the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (at least level 3 of the German Qualifications Framework).
You hold German, EU, or EEA citizenship.
You must have the German Sports Badge in bronze, silver, or gold, which you must present by June 15 of your year of employment. You can find more information about the German Sports Badge here.
