Loan Workout Specialist

Location:
West Des Moines, IA 50266
Hybrid schedule-3 days a week in office is required.

Estimated Duration:
The client approximates that this project may last up to 18 months. However, there is no guarantee of employment for any length of time.

Pay Rate Range:
$23.75/hr.

Project Description:
Participate in or provide support for low complexity initiatives within Loan Workout.

Review basic or tactical issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained related to low-risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact in Loan Workout.

Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Provide information to client personnel in Loan Workout.

Required Qualifications:

6+ months of Loan Workout or Commercial Lending experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:

Covers jobs responsible for managing complex and sensitive customer issues which can include estate care resolution (life events), remediations, and/or settlements.

Functions include assessing wide-ranging customer circumstances, conducting extensive research, determining appropriate courses of action, documenting/communicating finding, and supporting the issue through direct mediation as applicable.

Manages stakeholder relationships with customers, family members, legal representatives, and business partners.


Desired Experience:
Root cause analysis
Understanding credit cards, that is the main department
Payment research
Litigation exposure specifically civil procedure
Partnering with 3rd party law firms
Working independently and being resourceful
Enterprise/corporate environment background


Technical Skills Required:
EXCEL experience is very valuable in this role
