_Position Summary:
_INTEX Millwork Solutions is hiring a Production Planner to work out of Mays Landing, NJ. The production planner plans and prepares production schedules for manufacturing of building products.

Need to be a strong and decisive decision maker and be able to function well in a very fluid environment.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.


_ Your primary duties and responsibilities will be:_

• Draws up schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each assigned operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. Creates and Releases work orders for production utilizing Seradex ERP system.
• Works with planning team for forecasting and inventory status
• Dates orders and works with customer service on the current order status and notifies of schedule impacts to customers.
• Plans and schedules workflow for assigned department and operations according to previously established procedures, manufacturing sequences, and lead times.
• Confers with department supervisors to determine status of production.
• Monitor production daily utilizing work order status reports.
• Participate in the investigation of order variances.
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Interface with shipping/logistics dept to confirm order completion.
• Prepares planning / status reports such as production progress, work volume produced by dept, schedule compliance, work center efficiency, etc.
• Represents planning in daily production meetings with Customer Service making decisions regarding necessary expediting actions.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate with the production team as well as with upper management.
• Coordinates between materials inventory and purchasing on material shortages.
• Performs other assignments as directed.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred/Associates Degree (twoyear college or technical college) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Epicor experience preferred, 2 plus years of experience in production planning or comparable planning experience.

• Seradex experience preferred.
