This role serves as an enterprise leader and senior advisor to the SVP of Clinical Integration and the senior leadership team of the areas including Emergency Medicine, Radiology, Anesthesia, Pathology and Behavioral Health and others as identified.

The Director of Administration will provide counsel and operational organization. This role oversees the relationship with and facilitation of finance, HR, contracts, organizational design, project management, and strategic prioritization.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Produces high quality materials for executive meetings that convey messages effectively to internal and external audiences, as well as producing effective communication tools and resources for the leaders.
  • Oversees the budget, collaborating with senior leaders to establish and manage appropriate fiscal management.
  • Assists in coordination and execution of critical initiatives, assesses inquiries directed to the leader and determines proper course of action while efficiently and judiciously tracking progress until resolved.
  • Responsible for advising, assisting, coordinating, and collaborating on strategic and highly complex projects.
  • Coordinates all proposals and RFIs with vendor partners. Develop business plans to seek approval of leadership.
  • Identifies and prioritizes initiatives, bringing together senior leaders and others as appropriate to develop and implement solutions.
  • Independently triages incoming requests for engagement of the SVP, manages workflow, meets with key leaders, reviews presentations to ensure they meet standards, organizes agendas, assists with information needs, establishes policies and practices to improve productivity and time management.
  • Meets frequently with team members to keep them abreast of key developments and ensure synchronization of expectations; organizes and prioritizes information flow to and from the SVP.
  • Prepares effectively to make meetings successful, including development of agendas, follow up on key action items to ensure completion.

Qualifications:


Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of business or liberal arts. Prefer master's degree in business administration, Juris Doctor, or Master's Degree in Health Care Management.

Work Experience, Skills & Abilities:


  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a business or communications role preferably in a highly complex, matrixed organization such as an academic medical center, medical school teaching hospital, integrated health care system, or institution of higher learning.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong managerial ability.
  • Ability to interact and influence at the most senior levels of an organization and to work collaboratively across functions, levels, and departments toward shared objectives.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills. Ability to research a diverse array of finance, policy, and healthrelated topics and distill the key messages in preparation for presentations.
  • Demonstrated achievement in influencing, problem solving and managing highprofile projects.
