Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to our customers.

This is a vital role in our organization as you will be the face of our company, providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely deliveries.


Duties:


  • Safely operate a vehicle while transporting food product
  • Load and unload goods from the vehicle
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery
  • Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with customer requirements
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with customers and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documentation
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
  • Ability to help with basic tasks in shop such as dishes, answering phones and helping walk in customers when there are no deliveries to be taken.

Skills:


  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams
  • Ability to navigate using GPS or other routing systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
