Training location:
Central warehouse in Mauerstetten, occasionally also in V markets or V building markets

Vocational school:
Usually at the state vocational school in Kaufbeuren, variable depending on the district

Job description:
The logistics specialist* coordinates the entire flow of goods in the company. A challenge for organizational talents. The work begins with receiving goods. The quantity and quality of the goods are checked based on accompanying documents. You are also responsible for outgoing goods as a logistics specialist*. During the training, you will be taught various picking techniques. Packing and shipping of goods are also part of this training. Accompanying documents are created for outgoing goods.

In these tasks, you will also gain insight into the commercial components and manage, among other things, inventory, record deliveries, and have an understanding of the disposition process.

Usually, the two-year training as a warehouse specialist is completed first, followed by the third year of training as a logistics specialist*.

With a successful intermediate school leaving certificate, it is also possible to directly complete the three-year training as a logistics specialist*.
