***Overseen by the Internal Project Administrator, the Training Coordinator is directly responsible for the overall implementation, administration, and coordination of training to ensure Rhoads' goals and objectives are achieved.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner/assist department heads in identifying and researching internal and external training needs and gaps for new and existing employees
  • Inform employees and supervisors of scheduled training, track and report on training progress/outcomes/attendance.
  • Work with various departments as needed to ensure timely training of staff
  • Maintain documentation of the completion of initial and recurring trainings in each employee's personnel file/HRIS record
  • Manage Learning Management module in company's HRIS and other elearning systems for course delivery and tracking
  • Provide and receive feedback to participants and management.
  • Manage and maintain an inventory of all training materials
  • Point of contact for all training needs
  • Provide regular reporting on training results and schedules to management
  • Conduct annual audits with department heads to verify training content
  • Research grant opportunities for training

EDUCATION:

Required:High school diploma required or 3-5 years of related field experience

Preferred:Undergraduate Degree from accredited College or University


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • 13 years of training coordinator/administrative/HR/quality or related field experience.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the MS Office suite and the ability to learn and master other computer/technology software programs as needed.
  • Knowledge about traditional and modern training methods and techniques
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality; mature communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; detail oriented and efficient.
  • Ability to work independently as well as to function effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


  • The performance of this position involves exposure to construction or industrial areas where the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hard hats, safety shoes and hearing protection is required. This position may involve occasional walking on uneven surfaces, use of ladders and ship stairs.

Pay:
$50, $60,000.00 per year
