Job Summary:
We are looking for a Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers at ViaCash Store and handling monetary transactions using designated equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Open and close the store daily
- Adhere to all safety protocols
- Support store customers
- Resolve customer concerns
- Input daily sales data in Excel
- Deposit funds into ViaSafe
- Compile reports at the end of shifts
- Ensure cash drawer is balanced
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or related fields
- Must be bilingual: English and Spanish
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Friendly demeanor and positive outlook
- Proficiency in operating various equipment like computers and calculators
- Capable of standing for extended periods
- Basic math proficiency
- Strong attention to detail
Education And Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 year of retail experience
- Effective communication and customer service aptitude
- Experience in check cashing is a plus
- Ability to adjust schedules and tasks to meet business demands
