Job Description:


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Assisting in the constructability review of water and/or wastewater project plans and specifications
  • Providing professional services as client representative in roles of project and construction management to ensure that projects are constructed on schedule, on budget and in accordance with project contract documents
  • Duties shall include, but not limited to coordinating and administering compliance, and processing requests for information, submittals, invoices, billing, grant requirements, change orders, schedules, estimates and work plans through project completion and commissioning
  • Coordinating and ensures proper and timely communication between all stakeholders
  • Ensuring the project team adheres to all safety regulations
  • Successfully interfacing with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, contractors, inspectors, public officials, and the general public
  • Work with local and state regulatory agencies for project permitting, funding, etc.
  • Substantial presence on project sites

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Strong communication, technical writing and timemanagement skills are required
  • Thorough understanding of contracts, documents, drawings, and specifications and applied experience in the areas of project accounting, cost, administrative, and personnel interaction in professional settings
  • Knowledge of project development, designphase management, construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, engineering/construction principles is required
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, and experience with projectrelated systems are required
  • Experience working in water related project with an estimated construction cost between $5M $100M is required
  • Water and Wastewater conveyance systems
  • Reservoir and Dam experience is preferred.
  • Water and Wastewater treatment systems
  • Reclaimed/Recycled water transmission, distribution and storage.
  • Water storage facilities
  • Pump stations
  • Groundwater Management Programs

Preferred Qualifications:


  • CMAA, Project Management, DBIA, LEED, Envision or other relevant credentials
  • Local Experience within California


Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

The Salary range for this position is $94,000-$120,000.
