Overview:

The Junior Compliance Officer is expected to advise the organization on complying with regulatory requirements, participate in licensing projects for new US states, engage in third party onboarding processes and assist with due diligence requests of the Company's new and existing clients, suppliers, or partners.

S/he will be expected to be knowledgeable on anti-money laundering and responsible gambling requirements in the Company's markets and recommend solutions to different stakeholders of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Company's designated antimoney laundering compliance officer.
• Responsible for daytoday operational compliance including monitoring, detection and reporting of potential problem gambling, money laundering, fraud, and other illegal activities as well as customer identification and verification.
• Participate in the regulatory process for new US states in cooperation with the compliance team.
• Follow regulatory updates and assist with updating the Company's policies and procedures.
• Liaise with all stakeholders of the business to ensure adherence to all relevant market policies and guidelines.
• Monitor the regulatory reporting calendar and other registers by maintaining and updating them in an efficient manner.
• Monitor the training calendar ensuring employees receive the required training at the appropriate intervals.
• Assist with providing inperson training and guidance to staff on compliance matters, such as responsible gambling, antimoney laundering, data protection etc.
• Compile reports, data, and other information as required by the regulatory authorities from time to time.
• Monitor and review marketing adverts and publications.
• Maintain accurate and uptodate records of legal and compliance documents, correspondence, and reports. Ensure proper organization, storage, and retrieval of information.
• Handling ongoing due diligence requests from the Company's service providers including banks and payment service providers.
• Assist in vetting of thirdparty due diligence documentation.
• Participate in and assist with compliance audits (internal/external, as needed).

Requirements:

• Ability to simplify regulations and standards and to communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
• Minimum 1+ years' direct working experience with an online gaming operator licensed preferred in the United States.
• University Degree preferably in law, financial crime, or compliance.
• Eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills

The following requirements will also be considered an asset:

• Knowledge in GDPR and Privacy,
• Industry certifications (ACAMS, ICA etc )
• Experience working with the online secondary lottery models.

$50, $71,000.00 per year
