Description

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect

Location:
Anywhere in United States, remote

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust GCP cloud environments.
Ensure compliance with industry best practices and company security policies.
Provide technical leadership in cloud adoption, optimization, and ongoing management.
Conduct system performance analysis and optimize for scalability and reliability.
Manage cloud resources and monitor service consumption to control costs.
Develop automation scripts to streamline cloud operations and processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

10+ years of IT Infrastructure experience with 5+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture role, with a focus on GCP.

Proven track record of setting up and managing GCP environments.
Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and cloud service models.
Experience with Windows Server and MS SQL
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Excellent problemsolving abilities and communication skills.

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent certification.
